Dorina Panagiotopoulou (Aniro) is a visual artist based in Athens. Her artistic practice involves playing with natural and digital media and her language combines elements from comics, architecture, poetry and sculpture. She like to tell stories through fanzines, gifs, figures, 3d spaces and more, drawing inspiration from memories, dreams and ancient myths. Many of her projects are connected to the method of trauma therapy and approach imaginary places covered by water, full of drowned voices. Her latest work ‘The Hidden Room’ has been awarded with and EBGE award.

Her illustration experience involves creating artwork for posters, album covers, books and comics. She has self-published several fanzines such as ‘The Hidden Room’ 2022, ‘The Accordion’ 2022, ‘The Blue Moon’ 2016 and more.
